Call Your State SenatorState senators are inundated with contact from the teachers' unions and their members. With money from their members' dues, these organizations lobby our state senators constantly in an effort to retain strict control over your education dollars and to make sure that the current public education system maintains the status quo.
You can make a huge difference simply by picking up your phone and calling your state senator. Explain why school choice and education are so important to your family and to all of Nebraska's children. Demand that kids in Nebraska finally gain access to educational options that children in other states have had for decades. If you're not sure who your state senator is, use this search tool. You can also contact the members of the Education Committee to help them understand the need for greater education opportunity for all of Nebraska's children. Write Letters to the EditorShow your support for Nebraska's K-12 students by writing letters to the editor for local publications.
Make your voice heard in support of tax-credit scholarships, charter schools, education transparency and reform, and other critical issues that affect each child. Send your letters to the Lincoln Journal Star, Omaha World Herald, Grand Island Independent, Kearney Hub, and other Nebraska papers.
